Limited Capacity seats available

This session highlights how grade level teams at Korea International School use collaborative time to build transdiscliplinary units. We'll start by hearing from administrators and staff why and how this time is important and how collaborative time is structured into the day that is purposeful and productive.

Following this, we'll see how a sixth grade team used meeting time to creative a digital story across multiple disciplines. Entitled: "Myths and Legends", students learned about myths in Social Studies, wrote fictional essays in English, connected their stories to Science concepts, and used digital tools to create multimedia stories complete with sound effects and narration that supports common core standards (CCSS)

If you're interested in creative collaborative projects in teams or departments, or want to "fine tune" work that you currently do in teams, this session is for you. I'll be sharing resources such as rubrics and "how to guides" on Imovie and Google Classroom to manage student work.

See you there!
