Mr. Garbus is teaching IB Diploma and IGCSE Economics and has recently been appointed as an IB Examiner. He has lived and worked in Asia since August, 2000. Prior to joining the AIS team, he served as Social Studies Department Head and MUN Director at another international school in Ho Chi Minh City. He has taught both IB and AP Economics in previous posts. In class, Mr. Garbus employs an inquiry-oriented approach that focuses on teamwork, debate, and writing skills. In his free-time, Mr. Garbus enjoys playing the guitar, freshwater aquariums, and Linux.
